Generation 2 - Chapter 20
We start off this chapter with Tony meeting his first grandchild, Moana, since he was sleeping when she was born. He thought she was so beautiful and was so happy that he was alive to see her come into the world.
And now that he was an official grandfather, Tony felt it was finally time to retire his position at the company. He had made it all the way to CEO and now he was ready to spend time with Moana.
Leilani, even though just having Moana, felt safe enough to go back to work since there were so many people in the house to take care of the baby. The nanny service had heard that there was a new baby in the Cavanaugh household and sent Karen over since they had also heard Leilani went back to work so quickly. They were unaware, though, that not everyone was going to be leaving so Remington did the honor of ending nanny services with them.
"Good morning, sir! I hear there is a new baby and my services are needed!"
"No, Karen, you are not needed. I would appreciate it if you left and next time we need a nanny, we'll call the service." So off the nanny went and off in the nursery, I caught Noelle doing the cutest thing.
Noelle was over at the crib tucking in Moana as she was sleeping. Isn't that sweet? Noelle looks as if she does have some emotion somewhere deep down inside of her. And just like Mckenna had done before, I caugh Brady checking himself out in the mirror.
So while everyone was at school and work, Remington and Tony were left to the manly duties of watching the baby. Tony's life bar was also getting pretty full and he had just dropped out of platinum so I was working on one of his wants of becoming Remington's best friend. And then...
Why, Remington, why are you crying?
OH NO! OH NO! OH NO! I'm not ready for him to leave!!! This would be my first sim death, so please excuse me if I get a little over dramatic...but I'm so attached to Tony!
Everyone came running to Tony' s side as the grim reaper came to collect Tony and take him away forever. And all Tony could think about was his wonderful marriage to Marisa and how this would affect her.

"So I get to take my things with me to the after life, there Grimmy?"
"What about this hula chickie? Is she coming with us?"
"No, she is mine, but be my guest, please accept this delicious alcoholic beverage we like to call a drinkey-poo." "Ooh, don't mind if I do!" And then he was gone.
 "Hey guys! What's going on?"
Ok, maybe I was wrong about Noelle. She was the only person to not shed a tear at the passing of Tony.
She even had the audacity to try and dance with Remington! Sometimes, I just don't understand that girl.
Poor Leilani slept through the whole thing so she didn't even get to say good bye to her dad. That's ok, though, because Tony remembered that in his inheritance. But the person hit the hardest?
Don't worry, Marisa, you'll see him again soon.Tony died at the ripe old age of 72 - left no platinum urn. Darn grim came too soon.
List of inheriters:
Marisa - $20,000
Mckenna - $8,600
Brady - $8,800
Noelle - $9,500
Moana - $1,325
And for Leilani and Remington? Zippo.
But to cheer everyone up, let's end this chapter with a cute picture of a baby.
Did that cheer anyone up? No? Me neither.Next >>>
Leilani is now close to giving birth and Noelle has come into the bathroom with her nerd hat on and wanted to tell her how happy she was that she was going to give her a neice or a nephew. And because Noelle talked her ear off, Leilani felt the urge to make some spaghetti because she was getting so hungry. Unfortunately, Leilani had low cooking skills, and you know what that means...
 ...panic time.
If you notice in the background in the bathroom, Noelle is the only person not fazed by the fire. Luckily, the fire department was quick so nothing was lost.
But it was quite a full house when the fire occurred so everyone got quite a show. And while all this was happening, poor Mckenna was all but forgotten. Today was her birthday and she quietly transitioned into an adult during all the uproar. Let's watch so she doesn't feel too forgotten, shall we?

She did turn into a pretty adult, didn't she? She didn't grow up too well, though, but thanks to Leilani she didn't get that last minute aspiration boost that she needed. Mckenna was working on becoming best friends with Tosha when the fire started and Mckenna was all but forgotten. After everything had calmed down, Mckenna decided that it was time to find her own place. She couldn't live in this mad house much longer and didn't know how long she would be able to take it.
"You know, Kennedy, I think it's time I move out. With all the madness - my little sister constantly in her nerd hat and spying on people through the telescope (notice Noelle in the background), my other sister starting fires endangering our lives, and my parents turning senile. I can't take it anymore!" So Mckenna found a place on her measly salary in her career in politics and off she went.
And the only people who noticed she was leaving were Brady and Remington. Kennedy Cox noticed, though, because he didn't waste any time in gossiping about it to Marisa.
And then we finally see some emotion out of Noelle.
Maybe if she took that hat off once in a while, she would notice things going on around her. Later that night, after everyone but she and Brady had gone to bed, Leilani was in the kitchen having just finished eating when she knew it was time to have the baby.

Brady heard her screams and came running to watch the birth of his neice or nephew.
He didn't know what he could do to help and he wished Remington was awake so he could be there with them. And where was Remington?
Sleeping blissfully in bed unaware of anything that was happening.
He almost looks bored, doesn't he?
So finally, after what seemed like forever, Leilani finally gave birth to her baby.
Into the world came Leilani's daughter, and Tony's first grandchild, Moana Cavanaugh, meaning Ocean in Hawaiian and keeping the tradition of first born daughters being given Hawaiian names like her parents had wanted.
 She's a cutie, isn't she?
Brady was honored to be the first one to welcome little Moana to the family.
And Remington kept with tradition of not being there for the birth of a Cavanaugh child as Tony had missed three of his four children being born.
Just wanted to throw in a picture of Tony coming home from work in his limo because who really goes to work in a limo? So Tony comes home in his limo as President of the company and he and Marisa try again to pose for a picture so Remington can paint them.
Aren't they cute? Remington is finally ready to paint their picture and they are just waiting for him to finish so they do a little cuddling. After several hours of painting, Remington decides to finally change into the clothes he bought when he went downtown and Brady decides to make a change as well.
Hoping to hide some of his features, Brady changes his hair. He doesn't look too bad, but you can still see his face. Hopefully he can find a girl with pretty features so their kids won't look so bad. Remington, however, cleans up nicely and he likes his new look!
Leilani figures that since both Brady and Remington have made changes to their appearance, she should as well. And here she goes.

And being the kind and sensitive husband that he is, Remington gives Leilani a back rub to help her aching back.
After all the changing, I thought it would be fun to gross out the kids.
What on earth would make Brady's face do this?
 Or this?
With Remington, Brady's friend, Tosha, and Brady in the same general area as Marisa, Tony decided to go up to Marisa and give her a big kiss! As all parents like to do, they had fun embarrassing the kids and had a good laugh.

Tosha was so embarrassed, she couldn't even watch!
I had so much fun, I took a lot of pictures, so here are a couple more.
 Even poor Remington was embarrassed!
I'll keep this chapter short since the next couple chapters will have a lot going on.
