Generation 3 - Chapter 1

With his father's death still fresh in his mind, Brady headed outside to greet Meadow who just happened to be walking by. He told Meadow about what had just happened and invited her in the house hoping she would cheer him up. When they got inside, Brady had some news he wanted to share with Meadow thinking it would change her mind about how she felt about him. "Hey, Meadow baby, my dad left me money after his death! How's about we try again for that first kiss?" Looks like it worked. Brady needed this aspiration boost since his father's death put him just at the border line for aspiration failure again. I have never had a sim this hard to keep happy before! Twice now he's almost gone into aspiration failure! It was pretty much smooth sailing after the kiss. He worked his magic on her and she soon realized it was love. And they did some more kissing. After his first kiss, Brady wanted to ask Meadow to go steady and he was slowly working up his nerve to do so. When everything looked good to go with Meadow, he took the plunge and asked her to go steady with him. Only, Meadow wasn't quite ready for that. Poor kid loses his father and gets rejected yet again from Meadow in the same day. If he doesn't stop crying over everything, some people will start to see him as a cry baby! Brady is not one to give up so quickly though. He thought that maybe Meadow would like a meal first before being asked an important question such as this. So he made some sandwiches and sat down with Meadow to eat. Sure enough, the key to this girl's heart was through her stomach. A sandwich and a kiss got Meadow to change her mind. "Surely, Meadow, you can tell I care about you. I'm still dealing with my father's death and I feel that you are one of the most important people for me right now. Can you reconsider and go steady with me now?" Meadow accepted and Brady got another needed aspiration boost. And they were so happy, they made out right in front of Noelle who was just now starting to show emotion over her father's death. I thought maybe that inheritance money she got earlier would make her happy. But, I guess not. Maybe she has a heart afterall? We'll see. The next morning, the house was quieter than the family was used to. Remington continued to paint and was working on a painting for Moana's bedroom. Noelle worked on some homework while Brady watched a little tv while doing some thinking. And Leilani just woke up and learned what she had missed the previous night. The first place Leilani headed was to the family's new mausoleum to visit her father's resting place. "Oh, daddy! Why didn't you leave me any money?!" or something to that effect. Marisa and Brady shared a hug in the baby's room, while the baby was off somewhere, probably getting fed. Marisa has done a good job of keeping this family together in the aftermath of Tony's death. After Leilani left her father's urn, Marisa made her way over to see him. And that night... ...life sure is boring now that Tony is gone.
