Generation 4 - Chapter 11

Remember that crazy, nothing happened chapter we just had? Well, more happens in this one. We'll start this one off with a birthday. It's Bailey's birthday! And doesn't she look cute with her new hair? Before blowing out her candles, she checks to make sure everyone is there for her transformation into teendom. Hey, Bailey and turned teen, but what's wrong with Maura? Before we find out, doesn't Bailey look just like her mother? Even down to the hairstyle! Sorry to steal your thunder, Bailey, but it looks like a baby is coming. But you still look cute! As Bailey walks off with her slice of cake, the rest of the family's attention is on Maura and the upcoming arrival. And here's the new baby! Welcome baby Hayden! Such a cutie and basically another Maura clone. With the new baby, Maura has been forgotten and so, basically, has the baby. There's cake, how could you forget that?! Sorry, Maura, the cake was a better offer to the family. You're on your own. After the cake was devoured, Bailey made a phone call. Just who are you calling, young lady? Legacy's home for the insane? I mean, come on. Your father whips out a pillow in celebration of the new family member. So with that, Bailey is off to college. And as you can see, nobody saw her off. I think, actually, Payton remembered and he waved at her from the front door. But everyone else was busy having a pillow fight. And with one less mouth to feed, Maura decides to pull out a whole lobster to cook for herself. I should have someone suck out her cooking skills. Thanks for wasting food. And for anyone wondering, we have a shot or two of Bailey headed to college. This is her after her transition to young adult. And after her makeover. We may visit her again to see if we can accomplish Maura's LTW. Oh, and one last shot of her jamming with Draco's fiance. That girl loves the instruments! As Bailey headed off to college, Draco returned from his college stint and a fancy college diploma. Before he even thought about changing his clothes, he was dragged to have the family protrait done. Hey, what do we have here? A former firefighter starting a fire. Oh, Maura, what am I going to do with this family? But I did manage to find a really cute firefighter named Alec I could hook up with someone in the house. Too bad I only have the male's be heirs because I would love for his gene pool to merge with this house. After the fire, it was back to business. Maura taught Cadence to walk as she was all glowy from the smart milk. And Clay met his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Jaqueline, as she stopped by when Draco beckoned her over. Of course the kissing room is the setting of Draco's affection and lure of bringing Jaq into the house. A little bit of flirting should do the trick. And it worked! Jaq is now part of the family and one step closer to being married into the family. And as she transitions from young adult to college graduate, let's reflect on Draco's impending nuptuals. *sigh* Eh, not sure how I feel about the hat as an adult. We'll try it and see, but Jaq is now part of the household and she's also a bonus because she can babysit! Stay tuned for the next chapter with possibly a wedding and maybe even a birth!

Generation 4 - Chapter 10

This chapter brings us back to the main house and we can find out how the family coped while Draco was away at college. We start off this chapter with what else, but a family picture. Now that Lahela has moved out and Draco went off to college, the family headed out and had another photo taken. Current child count for Maura is 5 kids. Will she make it to 10? What's with the face, Maura? "I don't know. I feel kinda funny." Huh, I wonder what it is. Well, I guess we figured that out, didn't we? "Rats, another one? Didn't I just have one?" I thought you wanted 10? Well, either way, another one is on the way. It's not often Clay and Maura get some time alone for a meal, but here they are. I'm not sure where everyone is considering the house is a zoo and all. But, since Maura is busy being the baby factory, she needs to keep up her strength and she had a yearning for grilled cheese, so Clay cooked some up for her. An accomplishment that day for Payton was learning how to walk courtesy of Clay. And just in time, too, it looks like, because that night was a birthday! A birthday for who? For Payton. He became a child and apparantly it wasn't important enough to get a before shot. Poor Payton, the forgotten child. This is Payton, right? I just wanted to make sure because I have very few pictures of him. Oh, I see how it is. The cute itty bitty babies get the before shots in this house. Here we have a birthday for Cadence. This family is full of excitement, aren't they? If I didn't know any better, they were just statues! And here's Cadence as a toddler. She's just like all the others. I don't really think there's a point in rolling the pacifier. Maura just keeps passing those genes along. I know, Maura. You potty train one, you potty train them all. But think of it this way, you don't have many more to train. You have this one and the one you're carrying and your lifeline is getting pretty out there, so I don't know if you'll make it to ten. "Good! I know I said I wanted that many, but now I'm rethinking that." Maybe you should have thought of this before, oh, I don't know, having six kids. As I'm busy grumbling at Maura, who should get Happy Birthday'd, but Payton by Tony. Welcome to childhood, kid. And look who it is, it's our founder and his wife. They love being out together. Hey, Payton and Taylor, I know you like playing games and stuff, but I think you should be careful where you play. Taylor is defying the laws of science and actually inside the table. You know, I was going to not post this picture, but it's tradition. Payton and Cadence have celebrated birthdays, so the parental unit has decided to take another picture. Alright, who's ready for a makeover? First up is Payton. Now here is Taylor. And finally, Bailey. Maybe now I can tell the two boys apart. Hey Taylor, go easy on your sister. You don't want to smash her face in with the pillow. Anyway, that's it for this chapter! Stay tuned for more family oddness!

Generation 4 - Lahela Went to College

Alright, this chapter is for those of you who wondered what the heck happened to Lahela. No, she didn't get shipped off to college and forgotten. That's the job of the younger kids who were born later. I just forgot to blog her. But, yes, I sent Lahela to college and she went before Draco. So here we go. Here we have Lahela in her professionally taken "Just came to college" picture. Posterity, you know? As Lahela entered college, she didn't change much from when she was just a teenager. Her clothes are similar and she didn't change her hair, but she was different because she was out of the house and officially on her own because she wasn't going back after graduation. This was it. She was in charge of herself from here on out. I know I mentioned it before in passing, but I don't remember now. She chose her major as soon as she came to college and it was something like Drama or Econ, or something...I can't remember. But does it matter? She's not the heir, so she can do what she wants. And so, apparantly, can this chick. Lahela is minding her own business taking a shower and she's being watched. Can we say creepy? Lahela has been making a lot of friends in her quest to find the love of her life. Here she is dancing with some random guy and at least I can say one thing, she's a better dancer than her brother! But, what's with the face? Before class, you can find her spying on bushes and flowers. Like I said, I let her do what she wants. And if that's what she wants, then so be it. She also had the urge to go downtown and earn some money. Here she is seen serving coffee to various people. And I think she has found the one. And you know what's sad? I don't remember this guy's name. It's Rick or Brian or Mike or something. Someone help me with the name? While I struggle with the name and until I get back to the game and play them to find out, I'll call him Mike. Here we find Lahela developing a crush on Mike. And then she serenades him. Doesn't he look like a shy little school girl? Does this girl ever go to class? Now they're kissing under the light of the moon. Get a room or something! Oh, I see what she was doing...she wants something from him. She's just flattering him. And this is why the girl doesn't need to go to class. She just influenced her own boyfriend to do her term paper. Shameless! Well, after spending all that time getting all stinky writing that paper, I would hope that he gets something in return. They have fallen in love with each other. Awww. Seriously, why can't I remember his name?! Well, look what we have here...what am I calling him? Mike? Looks as if Mike is in his underwear and they just got engaged! Just what were they doing prior to this...hmmm? As Lahela and Mike are discussing possibly their future and when the wedding will be and all that fun stuff, who should show up but the Secret Society people. Sadly, with all the people I have put through college, Lahela is the first I have gotten into the Secret Society. "Wait, you're acting weird. What are you doing?" Lahela, don't sweat it. Just go with it. You might do this someday. "I won't become a clone like these people, will I?" Oh, do you mean that black blazer? Yeah, if you want. But you don't have to if you don't want to. But you can do a cool handshake with the people who wear the blazer! Upon one of her many trips to campus facilities, she runs into a fellow secret society member and proceeds to do their "secret" handshake. Come on, Lahela, you know you want to wear the blazer... But before she was able to don the blazer, Lahela graduated from college with a 4.0 and a ticket back home. After returning home, she gave herself a makeover and I'm not sure if I'm too hot on the blush, but she looks kinda cute, so I'll keep it. She also got a snazzy looking house. Although, don't ask me about that green strip because something funky happened during the building process of it and that strip takes on the color of the inside. Oh well, like I said, she's not the heir, so she can do what she wants. Speaking of, look who just moved in! College boy came over and she popped the big move in question. And he grew up to look like that? Yeah, let's get to a mirror and take off that bandana. There we go, that looks better. Here's Mike, post make over. He turned out cuter than I thought he would! That night, in their bedroom, they decide to get married then and there. Even though she's not the heir, I'm happy for her and I do like her. I'm glad she hooked up with what's his name. There now. Lahela is now married and check one off for Maura's LTW of marrying off 6 kids. I guess that means I have to play 5 more of her kids. Ugh. But hey, Lahela is happy and she is now Mrs. What's his name. And after the ceremony, they wanted privacy, but I do believe I heard the chimes of an upcoming baby. Stay tuned, I may come back with more of Lahela and College Boy.
