Generation 3 - Chapter 31

Last we left off, the family lost Remington, husband to Leilani, and Lucy became an elder the same day. We try to forget the monstrosity she became and look forward to what she looks like now after her makeover. She felt her long hair was more fit for a younger person and changed her hair to a shorter bob-like cut, which looked better on her than her previous look. Meanwhile, McKenna quietly walked to the family mausoleum to pay her respects to the recently departed Remington. Although she didn’t show it at the time, she was saddened by his death and would miss him greatly. Clay and BJ, the headmaster, came to the mausoleum next to pay their respects and McKenna could see that Clay was still emotional so she tried to console him by reminding him of the money he received from Remington’s inheritance. Even with the mention of Clay’s inherited money, he was still a little teary and found he could not stop crying over his uncle. BJ thought maybe that by him playing the guitar and some nice music would cheer Clay up, but it didn’t seem to work. "You know, Clay, if you would rather donate some of your money for campaign workers, that would be nice too. After all, I am looking to run for mayor in the near future and every little bit helps." Oh, I see. McKenna has intentions all her own rather than have the best intentions for her family. Oh, look who showed up to cause a little trouble with Clay. They aren’t the best of friends, so Joe always tries to make a point of picking a fight with him whenever they are together. Here, they are getting into one of their usual shoving matches, I can’t remember why. Maybe because Clay said something derogatory about Joe and a dress. That’s good, Clay, compliment the guy while he’s still wearing his uniform. What is that Maya is doing? Looks like she’s fishing for a husband. A friend of hers at work told her that one day she made a fake emergency call in an effort to meet someone new and ended up getting reprimanded, but she also met the man she would eventually marry. Maya had giggled and made fun of her friend for doing something so silly, but her friend defended herself by telling Maya that nothing she had tried worked, especially that dating site, sim-Harmony.com. Maya thought about it and decided she would try it to see what would happen. No sooner had she hung up the phone when a good looking cop came running into the house to investigate the reason for the call. He ran from room to room and ended up coming back to Maya to call her out for making a fake emergency call and he followed with a hefty fine. Maya considered that getting off easy when she took a look at the police officer in front of her. "Who is this handsome man in front of me?" thought Maya with a smile. She decided she hit the jackpot and found the man she wanted to marry. Now, if only she could get him to feel the same way. Officer Dorian left with a warning not to do it again or he’d be back. "What’s so bad about that?" thought Maya. "He can come back as many times as he wants and I’d let him in!" Meanwhile, Jan was standing off to the side watching the exchange and, as soon as Officer Dorian left, she went up to Maya and teased her about what she had just done to meet a guy. They shared a laugh and playfully tickled each other, all the while Maya was beaming inside for what she had just done. Uh oh, Leilani put on the noodlesoother at the wrong time. I was anxious to get her another promotion and failed to notice she wasn’t in platinum or gold and she had slipped to green. She put the noodlesoother on and all her needs plummeted and she dropped to the floor. Oops! Does this guy have no manners? He sees her passed out and yet continues to yell at Leilani for spying on him through the telescope. Get up, Leilani. Fight back! Leilani who? Brady came home from work to start up a pillow fight with Jan. That looks kind of painful, though. And thanks to the noodlesoother depleting all of Leilani’s needs, and the fact that she lost her husband her main source of keeping her social needs up, she got a visit from the Social Bunny. Do bunnies always land on their faces? Isn’t he cute? He gets up from the face down position to say hi and wave to Leilani. And she responds by shoving him. Be nice to him, Leilani! He came to visit you in your socially inept time of need! And you made him cry! Poor bunny. Nothing like a violent game of Punch You Punch Me. For someone with rapidly depleting social needs, she isn’t making any friends with the bunny. Lucy had just gotten home from work when she saw the state Leilani was in and decided to go over to her and comfort her and try to make her feel better. She spoke some encouraging words and gave her a hug. As Leilani was walking away feeling a bit better... ...Yep, Leilani and Lucy are in love with one another. There’s no denying it due to the heart floating above both of their heads. Lucy tried to hide her feelings for Leilani by going over to Brady and serenading him. What will happen with the love triangle? Will Brady find out? Can Leilani and Lucy hide their feelings for each other?

Well, they BETTER hide their feelings. Otherwise, the house might turn into a WWF wrestling ring. Hehe.

Aww, poor Brady! :-( Hopefully the "ladies" will show a little bit of restraint.
