Generation 3 - Chapter 28
Last we left off, Napua got rejected by Randy to go steady and took some action! We start off this chapter with remnants of the last, Napua is throwing a fit. Being rejected by Randy put her in a bad mood and no amount of consoling could ease her pain. And being inconsolable means that she stopped taking care of herself. She couldn't eat, she couldn't sleep, she was a hormonal mess. That evening as Remington and Joe were sitting down to dinner, Napua was in the middle of one of her now signature fits. "Don't mind her, Joe, my niece is just being a drama queen. She belongs on the stage." Even her attitude was rubbing off on other members of the family. Clay was feeling the effects and came over to tease her. "Hehe, I saw you making out with Randy and I'm going to tell dad!" So with that, the family didn't know what to do with Napua anymore, so they called one of their contacts at the college, pulled some strings and got Napua into college early. They thought maybe by being out in the real world would teach her a few things and she'll become a better person from it. So before the taxi came to take her away, some of her family stood behind her lining up to say their goodbyes. Bye, Napua. Hopefully you'll get your wants fulfilled in college to help you become happier. The next morning, Lucy described to Amy the events with Napua the night before. "You should have seen her Amy, she was so good, she could have won an award for her acting." "I managed to get her performance on cd if you want to hear it and get a laugh out of it." "You know, Amy, you're not very talkative. I'm looking for a best friend I can have a two sided conversation with and not make me feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. Do you think you can handle that?" Maybe if you let her get a word in edgewise, Lucy. "You know, you would make a great political speaker. I would pay to see you make a speech." So anyway, while that was going on in the front yard, the elders were smooching in the kissing room. Aren't they cute? Unfortunately, Clay witnessed the whole spectacle and had to leave the room. Besides, he had better things to do. Yes, Clay, that's a birthday cake. "If I'm going to grow up, I want people to be here and celebrate with me!" "My baby is growing up..." I have never seen this many reactions from a birthday cake before. And yes, there are two cakes, so there are more reactions. "Wait a minute, I just saw another cake over there!" "Two cakes, I'm going to be sick!" Well, this looks painful. He was so confused about the two cakes, when he went to scratch his head, he scratched so much it went into his head! You can tell this kid is related to Napua, he's such a drama queen! It's just a cake, Clay! So here we go, on with the transformation. How did he turn out? He grows into a teen flexing his muscles, very pleased with how he grew up. I'm not too sure about the jaw though, that may be a problem for future generations. But for now, we can try and hide it the best we can. So this would be Clay after his makeover. I gave him the longer shaggy hair and some stubble and a goatee to try and hide some of his features. Not too bad, if I do say so myself. In our next chapter, we will cover the second birthday and find out who the birthday person is.

That jaw ... my-oh-my. *LOL* The hair and the whiskers do a little to hide it ... but not much. ;O) Maybe it'll disappear in coming generations. Loved the whole "Drama Queen" thing. :O)
Wow well at least the hair helps concel the jaw a bit eh?
You know... after seeing Clay's jaw, I don't feel so badly about Basil's eyebrows. ;-) (Although fortunately, Burdock didn't get the 'brows, just the lips!)
Poor Napua. Hopefully she'll be happy in college.
