Generation 4 - Chapter 4

I know it's been a long while since my last post, but if we can go back a moment, let's reminisce. Lucy just kicked the bucket, much to the relief of practically everyone in the house because they hated her, except Lahela, who then grew up badly with the memory of her death. And Draco was born and named after the mean kid in Harry Potter. So let's get to it! After Lucy passed and Lahela celebrated the worst birthday ever, Lucy's urn was placed in the family's mausoleum with the others who have passed on before her. It's been so long, can someone remind me who the others in there are? Alright, on with the show. Hey, it's another birthday! This time, Clay has some bonding time with Draco before he blows out the candles. I just can't win with this family. Marissa passed down that horrible pointed nose that won't go away, and now Draco has absolutely no nose at all. Maybe now we'll have a happy medium. Yep, maybe if Clay throws the baby in the air and spins him a bit, his nose will pop out. We can only hope, right? He's got a face only a mother, or in this case, a father could love. Should I have warned you first? Let's hope these are his awkward years. So anyway, Draco has grown into a toddler and Clay loves him and it's possible he may grow on me, so we'll see how it goes. Where did the black hair come from, though?! While Clay was assisting Draco into toddlerhood, Lahela needed some help learning how to do her homework for the first time. Honestly, I think seeing Draco was a shock to the both of them and they ran away to distract themselves and keep busy. *Swoon* It's the wonderful father. Clay couldn't love his son any more than he already does and he doesn't waste anytime teaching him the basics. What is it with the men in this family? I love them all! I think it's a bit too early to start teaching him about death, don't you think, Clay? Meanwhile... Uh oh, another mouth is on the way! And just in time, I'd say. Gotta get the potty training done and out of the way now that there's another kid coming. You know, I don't know what he was cooking, but I'm not surprised. How many fires has this family had now? Maybe Clay was trying to reinact his first meeting with Maura. After two kids, with one on the way, maybe they were trying to find ways to keep the marriage alive. I love watching the parents teach toddlers how to walk. And this is no exception. And I'm thinking that while Draco is a toddler, he should stay in his pajamas because he is so much cuter that way. Aww, so cute! Clay really is a good father. Lucy, why do you come back? You know they all hated you and couldn't wait for you to die. Your son beat up on you, or thought about beating on you, daily. Poor girl. I know, we all miss you, though. Tugs at the heart strings, doesn't it? Hey Draco, that's Grandma! Remember her? She died when you were a baby and your parents have been forgetting to talk to you about her. One day we'll have a talk. What? Is it that time already? Hey, where's Clay? Hey, nice of you to mosey on over Clay while your wife is giving birth! I know it's your third, but it's kind of a miracle, you know. And what a cutie he/she is! Seriously, it's been so long since I played, that I have no idea if it was a girl or a boy, or even what I named it. I think it's a girl, though. So yeah, let's go with that. It's a girl. Wow, Maura sure looks ugly in profile, doesn't she? And happy, too. Woman just had a baby and she looks like she's about ready to commit murder. Thank goodness one of them is happy. Anyway, stay tuned for the next chapter where we get to find out the actual gender of the baby and maybe even a name! Woohoo! I'll try not to wait a year for my next post, either. =)

Yikes! Yes, a little warning on Draco would have been nice. But Clay is still a dreamy dad. *sighs* I hope Lahela gets over Lucy's death soon though. Well, given all the fires this family has, maybe it's not too early to teach Draco about death? Ha! See? What'd I tell ya! Another fire! *giggles* Yeah, the red and blue outfit next to his green skin is NOT flattering for the poor kid. Psst, that's Grandma Lucy, not Mommy Maura. *tickle* And I always liked her, no matter what her family thought of her. Poor infant, can't even have it announced as one gender or another? *shakes her head* Hopefully, since you've decided it's a girl, it really is a girl. Otherwise that poor boy is going to be awfully confused when you keep putting it into dresses and pink pajamas. *grin* Not waiting a year would be nice! But I think I'll hold off on holding my breath just yet... *tease* It was good to see the Cavanaugh's again though! *cheers*

Actually, this update is from a long time ago when I still had this family loaded before I uninstalled. So I haven't played them yet on the new computer. I have played the game though, and yes, it is a HUGE difference!
