Generation 3 - Chapter 39

If you remember in our last update, Clay and Maura had just gotten married in front of their family in the backyard of the Cavanaugh estate. After Clay and Maura finished the ceremony, Maya dropped to her knee and asked Dorian to marry her. The question came to a surprise to Dorian because he wanted to be the one to ask her, but he was happy she did it. He of course said yes and they celebrated their engagement quietly so as not to take the focus off Clay and Maura. If it weren't for those rings above their heads, nobody would have known something was going on. While Dorian and Maya were alone among the chairs, Clay and Maura were cutting their wedding cake. Aren't they cute? Clay gently feeds his bride a piece of cake. Don't you hate it when your parents show up at your wedding in their underwear. It's no secret what they've been up to...again. After the cake was cut, Maya and Dorian announced their engagement and felt they were ready to get married. They wanted to share the day with Clay and Maura and they quickly got dressed and started the ceremony. Maya said her vows to Dorian as she put the ring on his finger and he did the same. The doodad announces the union and they seal their marraige with a kiss. At least Lucy and Brady managed to get dressed and attend this wedding. Jan, who also attended the wedding, came over to give Brady a hug. She told him they were both lovely ceremonies and she told him he had grown up so well. She remembered meeting his father when he first moved into the neighborhood, but somehow she discovered the secret of staying youthful. Even Clay and Lucy put their feelings aside on his wedding day and shared a kiss. Isn't it embarrassing when another person is wearing the same thing you are? Clay and Maura sure didn't waste anytime getting in the tub, did they? I don't think they're doing any synchronized swimming...hehe. You know, if they had a car, they might re-enact that scene from Titanic. They make a cute couple, don't they? Please stay tuned and we can find out how Maura and Dorian adjust to becoming Cavanaughs.

Cute update! I'm glad to see both Clay and Maura have found their mates and sealed their fates. :-D I love the shot of Maura and Maya looking at each other in their identical wedding dresses. *giggle*
