Generation 2 - Chapter 17
The next day, Leilani invited Remington to stay after he got off work because she wanted to spend more time with him and they didn't waste any time! See the hearts? They fell in love to the music Sophie was playing on the guitar. As you can see, both Leilani and Remington are definitely in love. And what do you think happened next? "Tony, dear, what is that our daughter is doing?" "What, honey? What do you mean? Which daughter, we have three?" "Leilani, dear. Looks as if she is kneeling down to get something perhaps?" Leilani was kneeling down, but it was, she decided, to propose to Remington. She loved him and she had no doubts that he loved her. She wanted to marry him and she didn't want to wait for him to propose, so she decided to just go ahead and do it. "Remington, our relationship has moved rather quickly, but I know I love you and I want to marry you. So will you marry me?" Leilani (and I was too) was a bit worried he would say no and reject her, but he quickly answered her question with yes. Tony was happy to see what happened because he had been wanting one of his daughters to get engaged. As you can see, it made him really happy. And it made me happy, too because yay! no red ring! Both Leilani and Remington were both pretty hungry after all the excitement, so they made themselves a quick lunch and, after eating, Leilani surprised him yet again. "Remington, how about we make it official, right here, right now? I don't want to wait for a big wedding. I want to be married to you right now. And I even have a ring!" Remington agreed and they got married in the kitchen. It's wasn't the most romantic place, but they loved each other and they didn't care. So they said their vows and exchanged their rings. Leilani had been wanting to marry a rich sim, but Remington only brought $1000 with him and ZERO friends so no aspiration boost for Leilani. Lucky for Remington, Leilani qualified as a rich sim. So in moved Remington, a Family Sim with no job, but high cleaning skills (is anybody surprised?), no friends, and is a complete neat freak (again, surprised?). While I was focusing on Leilani trying not to get her rejected in any way, I lost track of Mckenna. When I found her, she was in the bathroom checking herself out and liking what she saw. Now back to Leilani and Remington and their first kiss as a married couple. Remington's immediate want was to have a baby and Tony also wanted a grandchild, so let's get to the baby making! But first, here is a view of the house as it looks now that Remington has moved in. Seven people and two toilets, something needs to be done quick. But anyway, back to more important matters at hand. The wedding night. Took two tries, but Leilani will be bringing in the eigth member of the house in a couple days. The next morning at breakfast - "Isn't today such a beautiful day?" "I think I'm going to go get a check-up because I feel nauseas." "Is that because you and maid have decided to procreate and were successful with your attempts last night?" So that is how Leilani gave her family the news that she was expecting. And now that Remington has married into the family, the maid service has sent over a new maid, Lucy, to do the cleaning. Could she be a potential mate for Brady when he comes of age? I'm not sure about the lips, though. Can you imagine her lips and Brady's nose on a kid? Yikes! Now that Leilani and Remington are expecting and about to make Tony and Marisa grandparents, Tony decided it would be best to get their portrait painted to hang on the wall for later generations to admire. Remington came with high creativity, so they asked him to paint them. You will not, however, be seeing this picture painted, because Remington decided he was too hungry to paint so he quit before he even started. But while everyone was off getting ready for work and school, I stopped paying attention to Tony and Marisa. When I came back to them, I found them still cuddled on the couch. Aren't they cute? Say it with me, now...awww.
